These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LLMs.txt Validator at llmvalidator.io (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
The Service helps you validate, detect, and generate llms.txt-family files and, on
paid plans, create shareable audit reports. Features may change over time. The free tools may be used
without an account; some features require an account or a paid plan.
Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, do not: break the law; infringe others' rights; submit URLs or content you have no right to submit; attempt to access other users' data; probe, scan, or overload our systems; use the Service to reach private, internal, or non-public network resources; or resell the Service except as expressly permitted by your plan.
Plans, billing & cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period and does not renew. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Your content and generated files
You retain rights to the content you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service — for example, to fetch a URL you provide, process content you paste, and generate files at your request. Files generated with AI are provided on an "as-is" basis; you are responsible for reviewing them before you publish or rely on them.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right in our trademarks or branding.
Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, authentication, payment, AI generation, email, and hosting) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, which are governed by their own terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. See our Disclaimer for details, including the limits of automated validation, detection, and AI-generated output.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date; continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
